The Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a special luncheon presentation with Bruce Williams, CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. Join us to learn how the Victoria Chamber reinvented itself post-pandemic to become a more proactive force in creating growth and opportunity for local businesses by better reflecting the diversity of its membership and creating a more inclusive environment that welcomes all segments of the business community. Bruce will also talk about the many challenges facing economic development in Victoria and the solutions they‘re developing to meet them, many of which are reflected in our own back yard.
The program will also explore future collaboration between our two chambers and the potential it creates for cross-border economic development and enhanced marketing to boost tourism and businesses on both sides of the Straits. Mark your calendars for this special luncheon presentation as we honor our Northern neighbors and celebrate the strength and boundless possibilities of an international partnership.
The Victoria Chamber recently earned a prestigious Inclusive Growth Award from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for outstanding efforts to advance economic reconciliation and foster diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in the Canadian business landscape. Chamber CEO Bruce Williams was also honored by his peers as the nation‘s top chamber executive by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada.
