The Support Our Community project invites all members to a work party sorting clothes for the non-profit First Step in Port Angeles. First Step Family Support Center’s mission is to increase the well-being of children and families on the North Olympic Peninsula by collaborating with caregivers and the community to access resources, supports, and skills that build family strengths.

TO BUILD…..OR NOT TO BUILD??? Have you ever wondered how these COMMUNITY decisions are made? Come learn about the role of the planning department, what a comprehensive plan is, how applications are received/processed, what considerations are given to infrastructure and local impacts and how the public can access information on current developments and provide input. Karla Boughton, Community and Economic Development Director and Eileen Cummings, League Member and Sequim Planning Commission chair, will take the mystery out of the process. ***REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN SACK LUNCH AND BEVERAGE.***
