We are focusing on climate change, specifically on advocating for effective local government climate policy development and action. We are actively working to inventory the current status of local government climate policy and progress. Recently the North Olympic Development Council NODC issued grant funds to the local governments who either have the capacity or who have demonstrated the most progress to address climate including Clallam County, Port Angeles, the Jamestown s'Klallam Tribe and Port Townsend. Please consider joining the Environmental Committee because collectively we can use our voice to move our communities to climate action. Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
